Do you like hard boiled private detectives who are maybe a little on the furry side (Magnum P.I., I'm looking at you)? Cause I really have to tell you about my next Concrete Arcanum contributor.
Christopher Brimmage delivers to us a little tale called Closure Inc., about a ghost who runs a business "exterminating" other ghosts by helping them finish their unfinished business (whether they want to or not...).
I'm a sucker for painterly styles and @CoreLoArt does not disappoint. I love what a huckster the main character is, even when he finds himself in over his head. I also remember this was the story that, as all the contributors started to turn in their stories, first made me realize that I really had something quality with Concrete Arcanum.
Chris also has a Kickstarter running right now for his main book, Mandrill, P.I.
The story of a hardboiled, hard-drinking private detective in a cartoon city who must solve the murder of its foremost celebrity, it's True Detective meets Looney Tunes with a dash of Hellboy in this noir tale set in a cartoon metropolis!

So I've gone on about the awesome creators I've managed to convince to contribute to Concrete Arcanum, and while I'm extremely proud of the crew I've assembled, I'm probably most excited to have Russell Nohelty onboard. He contributed the story, Moan, illustrated by John Edingfield II.
It's about a couple who break down into an argument in spite of there being an intruder in their house. Like much of Russell's work it's very silly on it's surface but becomes much more layered as it progresses. If you like stuff that manages to be silly and spooky, but also manages to contain real depth, I highly recommend you check out his latest Kickstarter, the finale of his series Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter!
A psychological mind screw, Ichabod Jones is about a mental patient that escapes from an asylum and becomes a monster hunter during the Apocalypse, but he doesn't know if he's killing monsters, humans, or it's all in his head the whole time. Russell draws upon his own experience with mental illness deliver a story about a wounded person finding his place in a broken world.

A very special thanks to everyone who showed up and pledged the first week out! We have a good foundation upon which to build. It’s onward and upwards from here!
The Early Bird comics bundle may be done with, but that was hardly the only one!
